🚩 XCM - Cross-Country Marathon

🚩 XCO - Cross-Country Olympic

🚩 STXC/XCC - Short Track


🔥 How to Qualify for Roanoke this July🔥

This is our summary based on 2024 qualifications and review of USAC website.

First and foremost - You need a current and valid USA Cycling annual license (see notes above).

🚩 Qualification for XCO:

  • Juniors (11-14) & Masters 50+ (F) & 55+ (M): No qualification required!

  • Most Other Age Groups: Need a Category 1 or 2 license (details below).

  • No qualification for those outside the 19-49 (F) & 19-54 (M) range.

  • If you’re in Cat 2 or 3, there’s a non-championship XC race where no qualification is needed.

🚩 Qualification for STXC:

  • If fewer than 75 riders in a category → no qualification needed.

  • Men: Must be Cat 1 unless 11-14.

  • Women: All categories eligible, except Junior 17-18 (who must be Cat 1).

🚩 Qualification for XCM:

  • No qualification required for ages 50+ or those racing single speed.

  • Other riders: Must be Cat 1 or 2.
