Momma's-a-comin' again. Are you ready?

For the past 27 years Kyle Inman and BikeVA.com have put on Counties of Bath and Alleghany Middle Mountain Momma at the beautiful Douthat State Park just outside of Clifton Forge, Virginia.

In 2023 Kyle teamed up with RVA Racing to bring the Commonwealth MTB Cup online and showcase the Middle Mountain Momma as an exemplar of Virginia's backcountry MTB racing!

Douthat is a MTB'ers destination because the park offers challenging Civilian Conservation Corps built singletrack unlike anything you've ever ridden! There are classes for the whole family including 41, 21, 11, and 5.5 mile races for all ages and skill levels!

12:00 PM All Other Classes. (XC 21 Mile, Ebike 21 Mile, Beginner 11 Mile, Varsity 21 Mile, JV 11 Mile, Elementary 5.5 Mile, etc.)

1. USA Cycling (USAC) Annual License required for ALL racers!

2. USAC Points & Qualifying for Nationals:

ALL RVA Racing Events are USA Cycling-sanctioned events.
This race is a USAC qualifying opportunity.
Pro Tip: Race more RVA Racing events for a higher ranking and those precious call-up points!

3. Cash Purse for Elite & Expert categories

Men’s & Women’s category payouts seeded evenly.
10+ registered in category to qualify for payout.
3-deep payout with 10-19 registered per category.
5+-deep payout with 20+ registered per category.

4. Age-Determined Category Breakouts/Consolidations

Categories can be split into age divisions with 10+ registered, 10-days before event.
Categories may be combined if less than <10 registered.
